The Role Playing System need a clean up of outcomes, descriptors, folding tables. The were errors in language that represented an outdated version of the system. This should all be neat and tidy now. A large portion of the battle was with the CSS insertion to get those garish 1990s web colours into the tables. Links to the online tools are now in the rules, and a link back to the rules are in the tools.
This kind of editing is exhausting. My regex skills are not good enough and basically things need to be hand bombed between Asciidoc, JavaScript and HTML. Many circles of fixing errors caused by fixing errors. Chat Gippity was helpful in stripping the HTML away and creating lists that I could cut and paste. However it is not above making some “creative” data choices. In the end the LLM did save hours of work.
Along the lines of LLM and images the feature image for this post is based on an original image by Andrew Brechin from the 1991 version of EXP. Andrew’s work had a lovely sense of humour and conveyed intelligence and fun. Mr. Brechin passed away in 2013.
